I understand first hand how hard it can be to lose weight and keep it off. Post delivery, I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism, and instead of losing weight, I further gained 10 kilos. To add to my problems, I experienced depression, skin problems and joint pains. However, with regular medication for Thyroid, balanced and intuitive eating, and regular exercise, I came back to my original weight and I have maintained it ever since. It didn’t happen overnight, but I didn’t give up! And that’s the only secret there is because weight-loss first begins in the mind. It is that moment when you decide and take charge of your body and health. I have been through all the road blocks, dealt with frustration and come out victorious on the other side. And so I share my personal tips and motivate you all the way.
Before one begins with the B.FIT programme, I spend time with my clients to get an insight into their current lifestyle, their eating habits, mental barriers, emotional triggers; and then design a meal plan that is balanced and weaves comfortably into their routine. I filter facts on nutrition, equip them with the right knowledge and understanding of their body, share recipes which are healthy yet delectable. The core idea is to ensure you enjoy this journey towards a healthy lifestyle, and you get fit from inside out. I believe that food is to be loved and relished, not feared and abused.
All my clients come with one common troubling question, “But I am a Foodie, how will I lose weight?” Well, so am I! I am a Nutritionist by day and a Foodie by Night. I love experimenting with food- from trying new recipes at home to exploring street food and local delicacies from around the world.
